Welcome to Heritage Matters, the District-wide newsletter that focuses on our local heritage. The aim of the Newsletter is to feature news about heritage-related matters in the District, for you to tell other interested people about your success and triumphs and to highlight ways in which Horsham District Museum and Heritage Service can help promote your local heritage.
Horsham District covers 204 square miles of a land rich in heritage and we recognise the need to work in partnership with interested groups, societies and organisations to make local heritage matter to the residents of Horsham District, and to reflect your passion for the past. We hope that the nurture and growth of community partnerships will be reflected in a shared vision for the District’s heritage, enabling us all to grasp the opportunities available to us for that heritage’s promotion and preservation for future generations.
