August is a time of sun, sea and … in 2008 it was more a time of rain, rain and …. work as none of the museum staff took holidays, not that we don’t like holidays, just that August is never a holiday time for us.

This year's summer soiree was very well attended by our team of volunteers; given that the weather on Wednesday evening was perfect we were pleased to set up in the back yard, decorated with festive bunting and lights as the evening wore on.
