How to find us
Horsham in West Sussex lies approximately half way between London and the South Coast.
The A24 (London to Worthing) by-passes Horsham. The M23 and A23 (London to Brighton) are about nine miles from the town. The A281 (Guildford to Brighton) goes through the town and the A29 is the main route from Horsham to Chichester.
Horsham has direct rail links to London Victoria, London Bridge, Bognor and Portsmouth. From Brighton change at Three Bridges and from Worthing change at Ford. From Horsham Railway Station turn left down North Street, cross the road and carry on walking for about five minutes until you go over Chart Way Bridge with the Royal and Sun Alliance building on your left. Once in the Carfax follow the instructions given below.
From the bandstand in the Carfax look towards the Town Hall (pictured above). The Museum and Art Gallery, painted green, is 50 yards behind the Town Hall at the head of the Causeway, which leads down to the Parish Church of St Mary and the Remembrance Gardens.
Alternatively from the bus station walk into the Forum, past Beales and the coffee shop keeping Sainsbury's car park on your right. Follow the path through Furneaux Walk into the Causeway. You will find the Museum and Art Gallery diagonally to the left.
From the car parks follow the signs to the Carfax.
