Currently we are involved with two projects funded by New Renaissance.
Reviewing Collections
"Part of a successful collections management framework is the ability to carry out a Collections Review. This project will look specifically at the mechanics of how to review a collection taking into consideration the museum’s statement of purpose and existing collecting policy and assist in building strong collecting themes and priorities for the future. It will allow museums to ethically dispose of items not suitable for their collection in order to make them accessible at more appropriate venues/outlets."
Sustainable Learning Partnerships
This project explores partnership working with local schools, identifying how museums can help support educational needs, ensuring that the outcomes are sustainable.
